Itinerary

Day 1 – San Donato

Warm up on a rolling ride to Regello's best pastry shop. This easy ride will familiarize you with both your bicycle and the gentle Tuscan landscape.

Day 2—3 – Siena

Siena

Wind through the heart of the Chianti Classico region, with beautiful views and charming villages. An optional ride takes you up to Castello di Brolio, where the Baron Ricasoli codified the "recipe" of Chianti. The Sienese countryside opens up before you, with cascading hills. On Day 3, we embark on a guided tour of Siena and sample wines at a local enoteca.

Day 4 – Pienza

Montalcino and Montepulciano are centuries-old wine villages that mark our passage today. At Monte Oliveto, we'll share a Ciclismo Classico picnic extravaganza, before heading on to Pienza.

Day 5 – Sorano

Cycle south through the immensely varied landscape, full of chestnut groves and poppy fields. Head toward Sorano, a historic center built on Etruscan remains. Our four-star hotel here offers unrivaled views.

Day 6 – Orvieto

Orvieto

Today we ride along white grape vineards to Bolsena. Continue on to the Umbrian hilltown of Orvieto, where we'll stroll the piazza and sample the namesake wine. Try to catch sight of the Etruscan tombs along the way!

Day 7 – Arrivederci!

From our hotel in Orvieto, you can easily reach the station. Grazie e buon viaggio!
