Itinerary
Day 1—3 – Henningsvaer
Warm up with a ride from Svolvaer to Henningsvaer, known as the "Venice of Lofoten." On Day 2, ride a coastal loop to Gimsoy and Brenna, where we'll dismount to hike along some of the most stunning coast you'll ever see. On Day 3, explore Norway's ancient past (and its connections with the New World) at the Viking Museum in Borg.
Day 4 – Stamsund
Follow a gorgeous coastal road teeming with wildlife to Stamsund, where fishermen and artists live side by side.
Day 5—7 – Ballstaad
It's wheels and waves on Day 5 as you ride to Ballstaad. To get there, we'll board a ferry to the fishing village of Nusfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Days 6 and 7 are packed with discoveries. Ride beside white beaches to the fishing port of Tind. Hear the cacophony of the kittiwake colony on the cliffs of Hamnoy. Hike around a mountain lake under the midnight sun. Cruise to Maelstrom, site of the planet's strongest currents.
