Trip Itinerary

Day 1 – Savelletri
We meet at the Bari airport and have a one hour transfer to our hotel. After a quick bike fitting, we'll take a warm-up spin and relax by the pool. The short ride will help you get acquainted with your bicycle and the gentle rhythm of the Apulian landscape.
Day 2 – Ostuni
Bike to one of the most charming towns along the Mediterranean coast, where white houses piled like sugar cubes remind you of the Greek Islands. Bring a towel, so you can take a dip in the sea on your way back!
Day 3 – Activity Day
This day is a favorite for kids, with a special boat ride hosted by our expert captain. Discover the secrets of Pugliese shores and mysterious pirates' coves with planned stops to dive and snorkel in the bright blue Adriatic Sea. This afternoon, our guides will teach you how to build a racetrack, for Ciclismo Classico's "beach triathlon".
Day 4 – Matera
Visit the cave town of Matera; until 1960 more than 20,000 people lived in cliffside carved grottoes, now transformed into a unique open air museum, shops, restaurants, bars and hotels. After our tour we'll head to our second "base camp" of the trip... are you ready to live in a Trullo?
Day 5 – Castellana Caves
This morning take a spin among gorgeous olive groves, and country roads lined with ancient stone walls. Explore the deepest cave of the area. In the afternoon, we'll have a cooking demo with our local chef and friend Pippo.
Day 6 – Alberobello
Discover Alberobello in a unique Ciclismo Classico way: after a guided tour and a yummy pizza lunch, your tour leaders will organize a fun scavenger hunt between the conic roofed houses and narrow alleys.
Day 7 – Locorotondo
Via tiny roads we roll through Valle d'Itria to arrive in Locorotondo, a whitewashed, circular town known for its white wine. Visit a farming cooperative for an unforgettable feast accompanied by local music.
Day 8 – Arrivederci!
Via tiny roads we roll through Valle d'Itria to arrive in Locorotondo, a whitewashed, circular town known for its white wine. Visit a farming cooperative for an unforgettable feast accompanied by local music.
