Ciclismo Classico is pleased to announce the winner of the 2011 Ciclismo Classico Film Fest contest: Bill Charette for his movie titled Under the Tuscan FOG.
Bill will be traveling free on a Ciclismo Classico bike tour in 2012 for his award-winning flick documenting the bike trip he and his friends took together in September of 2010 through the Tuscan town of Trequanda, Italy. According to Bill, the FOG descended upon this quiet town and forever changed the history of the rolling bucolic fields and sun-drenched vineyards. He noted that the local vintners were forever, if reluctantly, grateful.
The runner-up film is I Want to Ride my Bicycle by Laurinda Bedingfield which chronicles the escape from the snowy northeast to sunny Tuscon, Arizona.
The FOG, Laurinda and their friends will be in attendance at the Film Festival.
Ciclismo Classico received numerous, inspiring and well-done entries for the film festival contest and we sincerely thank each participant of our competition.
Keep those cameras rolling, there will be more opportunities to have your films on the big screen!
