Facciamo la Spesa e la Pedalata—what do you do when half your group bikes and half doesn't? Well, we blended together a biking and shopping itinerary that is full of fun! We pieced together incredible rides for the bikers, and days full of shopping, walking tours, cooking lessons, olive oil and wine tastings, visits with local artisans, and guided city tours with full van transportation between towns for others to enjoy.
Wedding Bells, Italian Style
Viva Gli Sposi—Long live the bride and groom! David Andinolfi and his fiancé Marisa decided to tie the knot (and bike) in La Bella Italia. They invited 30 of their closest friends and relatives to Tuscany for a dream-come-true wedding at a tiny Renaissance chapel in Regello. Their unforgettable wedding feast and festa overlooked vineyards, views and a golden Tuscan sunset at the historic, four-star Fattoria degli Usignoli. Four days of cycling and walks for their active family and friends followed.
Ride & Dine with your Favorite Chef
One night at a dinner party, the conversation turned to a dream vacation: Riding across Italy, accompanied by your favorite chef (who would, of course, cook for you). We found not only the group's favorite chef, but also their second favorite, and plotted a course-laden course from Emilia Romagna to Umbria. Delizioso!
Famous Climbs of the Italian Alps
Our biggest Follow the Races fan Mark Sylvester wanted to get his former racing mates together again, not only to check up on their cycling prowess as the years have passed, but to finally conquer their dream ride together —the famous climbs of the Giro d'Italia. Together, the men trained, persevered, reunited and did it — soaring over Mortirolo, Stelvio, Pordoi, Fedaia and more!
Bike from the Boat
Who needs accommodations when you have your own private boat? One group came to us seeking an itinerary designed tour that revolved around where their Italian ports of call. We custom designed an incredible cycling itinerary through the Tuscan landscape and even made arrangements for a helicopter to fly in one of the guests!
Multi-Level Bike Touring
Not everyone was at the same level of riding for one group of friends celebrating a mixture of birthdays and anniversaries. In fact, they were all over the map! What resulted was a custom tour consisting of several different loops of varying levels and lengths to suit everyone's biking needs. Arrangements were made for yoga classes and massages along the way.
